Vá en lo terminal/konsola e escribe:
$mount /dev/sda1

más se tu hd for SATA escribe:
$mount /dev/sda2

preguntale al tio google.. el te responde todo... o en su defecto, escribe www.ubuntu-es.org en tu navegador y en la barra q dice "Buscar" escribe tu duda (bien resumida).

olle te sujiero que solo incertes tu [reproductor] y reinicies con el dentro luego te aseguro que al cargar tu pc el reproductor sera detectado ++++cuidate ok adios amigos

debes montar el volumen por consola con el siguiente comando:

#mount /dev/sda1 /media/nombre del disposivo

nota: En donde va el nombre del dispositivo debes tener cuidado con las letras mayusculas o minusculas.
